Centrally situated to all Gauteng Industrial and Commercial centers, Rand Personnel is made up of 10 Consultants and 3 support staff, making it one of the larger permanent placement recruiters in Gauteng.
Established in 1979, Rand Personnel built up a branch network in Germiston, Kempton Park, Braamfontein, and Cape Town before operations were centralized in 1991. For the next 10 years we operated from rented premises in the Germiston CBD. In 2001 we purchased our own property and in January 2002 we moved into our modern, well-appointed offices in Linksfield Road, Dowerglen.
Rand Personnel leans towards Technical and Professional staff recruitment and follows a "high quality, low volume" policy and from this has evolved a team of Consultants who need to be selective and knowledgeable and who tend to be conservative with regard to the number of Candidates put forward to each position.
Eight of our Consultants have been with Rand Personnel for an average of 13 years! Our low staff turnover statistics have not come easily. In a very stressful, short-term industry, Rand Personnel has a group of people who love their work, look on it as a long-term professional career and have a good working relationship with Management and each other.
Our large team enables better “networking” which lends itself to team building. The dynamics produced by a large team inevitably leads to success and therefore job satisfaction.
It is our policy to dedicate one Consultant to each Client – it is our unshakable belief that once a Consultant has met a Client, identified his particular needs, built up trust, empathy and understanding, which cycle of rapport should never be broken.
We are not ‘Specialists’, we are ‘Generalists’ who would prefer to look after all the needs of a select number of clients rather than a select need for a large number of clients i.e. we want to be “part of the family / an extension of your company”.
