Sylvia Petra Stockhammer started HMR after working in the recruitment industry for 9 years. Coupled with extensive experience, she is a passionate and focused individual that places the needs of the client above all. Her exposure to many different organisations, industries and engagement at all levels of management has made her a leader in her field. Her expertise led her to identify a gap in the market and she proceeded to plan and launch HMR. Petra also mentors many aspiring Recruitment Consultants and does external training and motivational talks to other recruiters as well as youth groups

We get to know the Client, its objectives and the company’s background and culture. We visit their workplace to gain an in-depth understanding of the environment and position together with the roles and responsibilities of the ideal candidate.
We research all competing companies within the industry, job grading and salary structures so that we are able to provide organisations with a competitive edge.
We develop a customised recruitment plan. We explore our network of passive candidates (top talent who may not be actively seeking a new job) and expand our search to include our active job seekers database. We then embark on a specialised advertising campaign to attract the ideal candidates. In addition we are also trained headhunters.
We identify suitable candidates and perform the initial selection/screening interview which includes a customized behavioral assessment. The shortlisted candidates are evaluated against the required technical ability and social attributes necessary for success. Finally, we critically verify the candidate’s professional references and work history, as well as doing all relevant background checks.
We present you with the profiles of the top candidates and coordinate the entire interviewing process for your organisation. We will assist you in the selection of the most qualified candidate and finalise the job offer specifics.
We present the offer of employment to the successfully identified candidate, managing any negotiation, and ultimately secure the signed offer letter. When appropriate, we assist the candidate with the resignation process from their current place of employment, helping to avoid potential counteroffers or conflicts of interest.
