Recruitment
Pitfalls around employment policies are great and appointing the wrong applicant can be an expensive exercise. CareerWorx will assist you to acquire and appoint the right person into the right job.
Applicants are sourced from an in-house database, the internet, printed media, and from a national network. We recruit permanent staff on all levels, ranging from senior management to entry level. CareerWorx use recruitment techniques which grant all applicants equal chances to apply for a specific position.
Recruitment Process:
• Receive notification of a vacancy within your origination
• Arrange a briefing session to obtain all relevant job and organizational requirements
• Source the best applicants through various techniques
• Interview the best candidates (interviews on higher levels are conducted in conjunction with practicing specialist in the related fields) example financial position a practicing Chartered accountant will do a technical skills interview and report
• Draft an in-depth personality report and CV for the short listed candidates
• Check references on all final candidates to understand them better
• Verify Qualifications, criminal records, credit worthiness, drivers’ licenses if required

We appreciate that there could be times that you might only want a list of CV’s coupled with a basic placement service. On the other hand, there could be instances where you require a more sophisticated search and headhunting approach. There is also a possibility that you may want something in between.
In terms of fees the range is between 15% and 20% of TAR (total annual remuneration package of the candidate) for placements. In order to determine where the rate should fall for each client, we need to assess the needs and range of services required.

Frans Meyer obtained a degree in Marketing and Communications and has spent a number of years in business development. Before starting CareerWorx Frans harnessed his skills as a head-hunter at one of the top executive search firms in South Africa.
Andre Lamprecht is a Registered Industrial Psychologist and holds a Masters degree in Industrial Psychology. Andre has numerous years of experience in aspects such as recruitment, industrial relations and psychometrics.
Sean Hanekom is a specialist recruiter with strong experience and background in sourcing and headhunting high end candidates. He is an expert at online marketing and social networks and knows how to make a company’s presence known in an industry. Sean has successfully recruited and represented a large number of top executives in various industries. Sean is currently studying towards his BBA through UNISA and hopes to pursue his MBA soon after.
Dr. Runél Biela completed her PhD in Industrial Psychology. Furthermore she holds a M.com in Industrial Psychology from the North-West University and a M.Sc in Organisation Studies - Track Organisation Of Cultural Diversity from Tilburg University, the Netherlands. Her interest and passion for diversity management, multiculturalism and employee wellness is what drove her extensive academic focus on these matters as well as her experience in counselling of and assistance to employees suffering from high levels of stress and related employee wellness matters.
Annerie Allers joined the team as a communications expert and oversees all communications and branding aspects as well as quality control. Annerie is currently completing her Masters degree in Corporate Communication.
Ingrid Naude completed her Masters degree in Human Resource management & Industrial Psychology at the University of Pretoria. She is a qualified Industrial Psychologist. Her work on “the factors impacting on ethical behaviour in organizations” was published internationally in 2009. Her focus lies in diverse fields within the industrial psychology domain, but has a strong focus on the development of individuals through assessment centres and training interventions.
Miana Spies has been a registered Psychometrist for the last 10 years. During this time she gained extensive experience in psychometric testing and report writing on all levels – aptitude tests of children as early as the age of 3 years, subject choices, career guidance, testing of first year students at the North West University as well as psychometric testing in the corporate sector at companies such as Clover SA and Eskom. She has also developed a programme on study methods and reading skills that has been presented at Anglo Gold Ashanti to their Engineering Students for 3 consecutive years.
Lizelle van Graan is a registered Psychometrist and holds a Masters degree in Sociology, specialising in counselling and training. Having worked as a Psychometrist for the past 10 years she has extensive experience in career guidance and planning, and the value of psychometric assessment in the process of recruitment and selection. Her other fields of interest and experience in Human Resources are Training and Development, Employee Relations, Recruitment, and Job Profiling.
Cedric Osman has 30 years experience as a personnel consultant and has been involved at all levels of recruitment. During the last 10 years he has been exclusively involved in Engineering and IT recruitment for major corporations and medium concerns in South Africa. His major focus is on client satisfaction by providing the ideal candidate for the specified positions. He majored in Psychology and English at university level.
Gregory Green is a specialist recruiter in the Engineering field with great knowledge and technical understanding of all engineering processes. He has successfully headhunted and placed all calibres of engineers through a wide variety of engineering fields. Greg is currently studying towards his BBA through UNSIA.
Kati Mhone heads up our recruitment division at PopUp, a non-profit company based in Pretoria with a vision to contribute meaningfully to the transformation of communities by empowering the disempowered. Kati has a master’s degree in Industrial Psychology and has extensive experience in assessments and recruitment. Kati shares in the passion of PopUp which is to assist learners with job placements. PopUp forms part of our social upliftment programme.
