The Plant Manager will be to plan for raw material, direct and coordinate the Production, Maintenance, Tool Room and Warehouse function, in order to meet the customer demand for high quality products and delivery. The position will provide managerial leadership to the following.
1) Manage both Ultra-Span and Stamping Production function.
2) Oversee the Warehouses and despatch function.
3) Manage Production Yield, and Cost.
4) Ensure sound labour relationship with Unionised and Non-Unionised employees.
5) Ensure employees are engaged and productive.
6) Manage the Ultra-Span and Stamping Plant Factory Operating Budget.
7) Coordinate and Manage Electrical & Mechanical repairs, maintenance, and installations.
8) Coordinate and drive automation, improvements and maintenance activities including Capital and non-capital projects.
9) Coordinate and supervise all activities of the maintenance department.
10) Manage the Tool Room Team and all tooling tasks and projects.
11) Prepare Plant efficiency reports and office administration.
12) Champion Resource Management system.
13) Champion Total Quality Management and Continuous Improvement.
14) Ensure Health & Safety standards are improved.
15) Manpower planning and Staff Performance management.
Unique Factors:
• The incumbent will be required to work long hours if required, call-out in case of emergencies.
• Monthly Stock counts are conducted over periods where there is no stock movement, i.e. weekends.
• May need to travel (EMEA)
• Collaborate with other team members to streamline customer experience. • Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate growth in sales. • Sound employee relationship skills • Matured Emotional Intelligence

Candidate Requirements
Relevant Qualification & Experience required:
Qualification: Production / Engineering Qualifications
• 10 years’ experience in production management.
• Experience in using MRP system for reports and material management.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
• Experienced in influencing and negotiating with diverse stakeholders at all levels in an organisation to maximise business impact.
