Job Title: Sport Admin/Manager for a NON Profit Company
Location: West Rand
Reports to: Director of Sports
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sports administrator to oversee the planning, organization, and management of sports programs and events. The Sports administrator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing initiatives that promote soccer and netball development, team success, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a passion for sports and helping others succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Attendance of Coaches and soccer Club kids.
- Attend all meetings with school groups etc
- Manage the daily operations of sports coaches,teams, leagues, and events
- Recruit and supervise coaches, instructors, and volunteers
- Manage and arrange for coaches to be registered for their necessary courses.
- Ensure all important documents, league registrations etc are on schedule.
- Work closely with our soccer kids and coaches to facilitate skill development and performance improvement
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and facilities for practices, games, and competitions
- Manage and assist with marketing and fundraising Events
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and safety standards
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sports programs.
- Assist with soccer kit and uniform orders
- Create presentations, coaches and players portfolios when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of sports industry trends, best practices, and regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- CPR/First Aid certification credentials preferred
Required Skills
- Administration: 1 to 2 years
- Sports Industry: 1 year or less
Candidate Requirements
Own car is essential
Reside within 10km from our offices
Must have a passion for Sportz and kids, mainly Soccer
Work Hours: Mon & Wed: 9.30pm to 16.30pm,
Tues & Thurs 12.00pm to 19.00pm
Sat: 9am to 12am (league games dependant)
Fri & Sunday : Days Off
