PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for crafting and overseeing the execution of strategic social media initiatives that enhance our brand presence, increase leads and engage our audience. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical proficiency in DTP and graphic design to produce compelling content across various digital platforms.

5. Collaborate with marketing and digital teams

FUNCTION AND OBJECTIVE DETAILS OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS –
1. Develop and manage social campaigns
· Create and execute social media campaigns aligned with the organisation’s goals.
· Plan, schedule, and publish content across various social platforms.
· Optimise campaign performance by analysing metrics and adjusting strategies as needed.
2. Design and produce visually appealing graphics
· Design eye-catching graphics and layouts for both digital and print content.
· Ensure brand consistency and visual appeal in all social media materials.
3. Monitor, analyse, and report on Social Media Metrics
· Regularly track social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.
· Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
· Prepare reports on key metrics (e.g., engagement rates, reach, conversions) for management review.
4. Online Community Engagement
· Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers promptly and professionally.
· Foster positive interactions with the audience and address any concerns or issues.
· Build and maintain relationships with followers and influencers.
5. Collaborate with marketing and digital teams
· Work closely with the marketing team to align social media strategies with overall marketing goals.
· Coordinate campaigns, promotions, and messaging across different channels.
· Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms.
6. Stay up-to-date with Social Media trends
· Keep abreast of industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms.
· Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance social media presence.
Required Skills
- Graphic Design: 3 to 4 years
- Microsoft Office Xp: 2 to 3 years
- Adobe Creative Suite: 2 to 3 years
- Social Media Skills: 2 to 3 years
- Print Material Creation: 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum qualification required for this position:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification and experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field.
· Certification or coursework in social media management or digital marketing.
2. Minimum experience required for this position:
· Proficiency in desktop publishing software and graphic design tools.
· At least two years of experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organisation.
3. Behavioural skills required for this position:
· Creative thinker with an eye for design and detail.
· Excellent Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal skills, capable of nurturing relationships with colleagues and external partners.
· Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· A proactive approach to problem-solving.
· Eagerness to engage with emerging technologies and digital trends.
· A collaborative spirit, ready to integrate with new teams and contribute positively to group dynamics.
4. Technical skills required:
· Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
· Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
· Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
· Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
· Ability to created engaging written and visual content.
· Print Material Creation experience.
