• LLB / HR or IR Degree or Equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Labour Environment
• Must have experience in attending to CCMA and the various Bargaining
Council matters.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act,
Labour Relations Act, Bargaining Council Main Agreements and Sectoral
Determinations, in addition to the application thereof in practice.
• Own transport, valid driver's license and willing to travel.
Candidate Requirements
• Excellent collective bargaining and negotiation skills.
• Assisting members with queries.
• Drafting of policies and procedures.
• Drafting of charges for disciplinary enquiries.
• Chairing of disciplinary, incapacity, and poor performance enquiries.
• Drafting of outcomes for disciplinary enquiries.
• Representing members at the CCMA or bargaining councils (Conciliations and
Arbitrations)
• Facilitating retrenchment and transfer procedures.
• Assist clients with union negotiations.
