- Tertiary degree, diploma, or certificate in IT, Engineering, or Project Management.
- 5-10 years of proven experience as a Business or System Analyst.
- Proficiency in eliciting requirements, testing, and reading SQL queries.
- Basic knowledge of generating process documentation and explaining technical details.
- Experience in project management or team lead roles.
- Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, and/or relationship banking operations, financial products, risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements, such as Basel III, KYC/AML, is essential for ensuring that solutions align with legal standards.
- Experience in transactional and collections instruments, Payments, and PASA Certification is advantageous.
- Identify system requirements and liaise with users to track additional requirements and features.
- Document interfaces between new and legacy systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams and developers to produce new systems.
- Validate changes through testing and train new users on new operation systems.
- Ensure deadline and budget requirements are met.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and technical developments.
- Develop relationships with partners to optimize integration and enhance systems.
- Design, document, and maintain system processes.
- Report on technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the product team.
- Experience in and knowledge of Agile methodologies as well as utilize tools like Confluence and Jira.
- Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and assess against design.
- Assess, map, and optimize business processes end-to-end, including testing.
- Apply modeling standards like BPMN and use modeling tools like ARIS.
