Our client, in the Retail Industry, requires the services of a meticulous and skilled Store Planner to analyse data to provide integrated and accurate feedback to ensure stock availability.
Key performance areas:
- Maintain store replenishment parameters in order to create accurate store orders
- Fault finding / root cause analysis on all store replenishment related problems
- Support store operations with regards to all inventory related queries and issues
- Data tracking and analysis
- Communicate and build relationships with vendors, divisional management branch personnel, buying community and supply chain
- Generate high level reports utilizing large volumes of data to inform decisions to management
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate must have:
- Matric with a degree in Logistics / Supply Chain / Business Sciences or relevant qualification
- At least 3 years relevant working experience in Replenishment or Supply Chain
- Computer literate – (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Must have experience with using analytical tools such as Excel & SAP Self Service
- Experience in root cause analysis / problem-solving
- Must have strong numerical and analytical skills
- Must be able to interpret data and build reports
- Must have a strong ability to grasps complex concepts
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to work independently and in a highly pressurised environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license
