- The role involves extensive travel both in South Africa and abroad. In addition to working normal business hours you will also be expected to make yourself available outside normal South African business hours as required.
- You will need to be technically proficient in the benefits, application and tax issues around the use of company products in the various jurisdictions that they operate in
- Marketing the services and products from the company and associated companies/JVs
- Representing the Company and its brands in a professional and diligent manner
- Creating a business development plan/implement the strategy
- Ensuring that product sales meet all regulatory requirements
- Working and building relationships with the Life companies and International Investment houses
- Development of new products
- Attending/presenting seminars and/or presentations
- Gathering market intelligence and understanding competitor products
- Obtaining awareness of and understanding of new markets in South Africa and greater Africa
- Liaise with tax/legal advisers
