Vacancy Details
Employer: Top Recruitment
1. Monitor and oversee the receiving and dispatching processes
2. Plan and oversee the process of picking and packing of stock to ensure accuracy and sufficient space for storage of stock.
3. Facilitate the process of cycle counting of stock using Kerridge.
4. Manage the bi-annual stock counts
5. Ensure all breakages are processed and disposed of as per procedure
6. Manage day to day administration and management of staff
7. Ensure that all aspects of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are adhered to in terms of fire equipment, PPE, stacking and general safety in the warehouse and yard
8. Daily opening and closing of the warehouse
9. Attend to customer complaints
10. Ensure Customer Service is maintained at the highest possible level.
11. Manage costs and usage of warehouse consumables.
Required Skills
- Fmcg Experience: 5 to 6 years
- Erp: 5 to 6 years
- Warehouse Manager: 5 to 6 years
- Wholesale Experience: 5 to 6 years
Candidate Requirements
1. Grade 12
2. 3-year tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management, operations management or business administration.
3. 5 + years experience working as a Warehouse Manager
4. 5 + years experience in the FMCG & Wholesale industry
5. Working knowledge of inventory management ERP (K8/SAP/Syspro/Accpac/JDE) software - Kerridge knowledge and experience advantageous.
6. Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity and the ability to manage and motivate employees
7. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
8. Above average MS Office skills
9. Ability to work under pressure and according to tight deadlines.
10. Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
11. Excellent timekeeping, work ethic and attendance record
12. Willing to work extended trading times, weekends and public holidays
