Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic General Manager to oversee all operations at the Willets Hotel. This role is not only about managing day-to-day activities whilst embodying a hands-on role, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and unforgettable stay.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly Facilities and Incident Report:
- Prepare and present comprehensive monthly facilities and incident reports to the leadership team, highlighting property upkeep, incident management, and improvements.
- Training and Oversight of Team:
- Train and mentor the concierge team, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conducting regular spot checks for maintenance and cleanliness.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Provide weekly reports to the Head of Operations and COO, addressing key performance metrics and guest feedback.
- Maintain effective communication with the body corporate, addressing property-related matters promptly.
- Rostering Creation and Audit:
- Create and audit concierge team rosters, ensuring optimal staffing levels and adherence to scheduling requirements.
- Team Administration:
- Maintain high standards of team admin tasks, documentation, and record-keeping processes.
- Oversight of all hotel functions:
- Conduct daily inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Weekly and Daily Updates:
- Deliver regular reports on property operations, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Commitment to Standard Operating Procedures:
- Ensure the team adheres to SOPs consistently, emphasizing the importance of quality and consistency.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement measures to maintain service quality and conduct regular audits to ensure standards are met.
- Guest Satisfaction Enhancement:
- Continuously seek ways to enhance guest satisfaction through personalized services and efficient problem resolution.

- Hotel Management: 2 to 3 years
- Hospitality Service: 2 to 3 years

Requirements:
- Previous Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in hotel management, hospitality, or short-term rental management.
- Customer Service and Communication:
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a focus on exceeding guest expectations and creating a welcoming environment.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Proven ability to effectively lead and manage a team, including setting goals, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Booking Platform Familiarity:
- Familiarity with booking platforms such as Booking.com and Airbnb, including managing property listings and maximizing online presence.
- Organizational and Multitasking Abilities:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to ensure smooth operations and attention to detail in maintaining property standards.
- Local Knowledge:
- Knowledge of local attractions and amenities to provide valuable recommendations and enhance guest experiences.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills to address guest concerns and operational challenges promptly and professionally.
- Tech-Savvy:
- Proficiency with property management systems and other relevant technology to streamline operations and enhance guest experiences.
- Financial Acumen:
- Sound financial acumen, including budget development and adherence, expense monitoring, and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Sales and Marketing Skills:
- Sales and marketing savvy to promote the hotel effectively, drive revenue, and develop innovative strategies to attract guests.

- Ability to think creatively and innovatively to differentiate the hotel in the market and develop unique guest experiences.

- Excellent communication skills to maintain positive relationships with guests, staff, suppliers, and stakeholders.
