CREDITORS ADMINISTRATOR
1. Main purpose of the position: Responsible for and effectively control the activities of the creditors function; to ensure effective & efficient risk management of the creditors book and ultimately achieving company profitability & objectives, in line with acceptable corporate governance standards
Main responsibility:
a) Responsibility for the effective administration of the creditors function by ensuring accurate allocation of all expenses.
b) Maintain updated cash flow forecast schedules at all times and ensuring accuracy thereof.
c) Control and management of all local EFT payments as well as completing all foreign payment instructions
d) Coordinating the timeous production of valid, accurate and relevant financial information, reports and records.
e) Maintaining an accurate database of forex currency and payment schedules
f) Capturing and reconciliation of all major and sundry creditors and tying up with GRN’s where required
g) Administering and reconciliation of the cash book
h) Controlling and reducing of creditors ageing days
i) Accuracy in completion of all account applications
j) Administering, verifying and controlling all aspects associated with the company’s insurance portfolio in the scope of your function
k) Complying with established controls and authority levels in the scope of the function.
l) Efficient control and resolving of outstanding creditor queries and credit requests prior to 90 days ageing
m) Ensuring close attention to detail and accuracy in the use of system and in the scope of function
n) Managing and controlling all aspects of timeousness in month end procedures
o) Attendance in and participation at stock takes, conference attendance and training sessions

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications required: MATRIC + Accounting certification
2. Experience required: 3 years' experience in creditors functions
ii. Industry: Finance department of a Manufacturing company
