Job Title: Youth Worker
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Youth Worker. The successful candidate will work closely with young people aged 12-18, providing support, guidance, and resources to help them navigate challenges and foster positive development. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build trust and rapport with young people, and a passion for empowering youth.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in youth work, social work, psychology, or a related field is highly desirable.
2. Proven experience working with young people, preferably in a youth center, community organization, or educational setting.
3. Familiarity with youth development theories, strategies, and best practices.
4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage young people from diverse backgrounds.
7. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and liaise with external stakeholders.
8. Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
