company, which aims to successfully apply business models in the
Internet sector to new markets. Our young and dynamic teams all
around the world design and develop Internet-based concepts and
grow with every successful project. Rocket Internet has supported
many of the most well-known, international Internet companies in
recent years such as Groupon, Zalando, Wimdu and eDarling, with
capital and experience.
Rocket Internet is now entering the South African market with an
exciting new E-Commerce Startup. To support the initiative we are
looking for an Online Marketing Specialist with
immediate effect, to be based in Cape
Town.
Online Marketing Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and manage online marketing programs focusing
on building awareness and customer acquisition
- Develop and manage metrics and budgets; Analyze and report
program performance; provide results and recommendations for
improvement and new programs
- Effectively manage outside partnerships to maximize ROI on
program investment
- Provide support for other areas of marketing as needed
Your Profile:
- You have around 2-5 years of experience in a relevant working
field
- You have strong experience in all aspects of online marketing
such as SEM (specifically Google Adwords), SEM (Search Engine
Marketing) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
- You are familiar with web services, APIs and data feeds
- You have strong analytical skills and a passion for the
Internet
- You are detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability
to handle multiple-tasks simultaneously
- You can mix creativity with analytical judgment
effectively
- You have successfully completed an university degree
- You have a high degree of commitment and motivation
