Job Description:
CEB Maintenance Africa in Gauteng is seeking a Customer
Engineer. The successful candidate will require a N3 Electronics
and an IT Technician Diploma A+, N+, MCSE will be beneficial. The
candidate will also require 2 - 5 years possibly in the same
industry.

2 - 5 years

Purpose: To service and maintain customers equipment in the
field
Functional Responsibilities
• Carries out maintenance on a timely basis on all machines
assigned to him
• Advises management on service plans and technical matters
required
• Performs necessary activities to keep diagnostics, tools and
service aids in a ready condition
• Maintains accurate log out records
• Read and understand all machine logic and circuit diagrams and
use effectively.
• Ensures calls are answered within the required time (meet SLA's)
• Practices time utilization as defined by hardware
management.
• Assumes accountability for the quality of service as
required.
• Reports any unsafe conditions to account manager.
• Keeps all logs, account control books and other documentation on
an accurate basis
• Maintains security of assets and confidential information.
• Keeps call dispatch informed on current location, assessment of
call priority and planned activity
