Job Description:


CEB Maintenance Africa is seeking a Financial Manager. The successful candidate will require a Matric / Grade 12 and a Bcom Finance Degree.

Minimum Qualification Indicator
• Matric / Grade 12
• Bcom Finance Degree

Minimum Experience Indicator

• Min 5-8 years working Financial Management Experience
 

Functional Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting, procurement activities of all or part of an organization.
• Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
• Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by regulatory agencies and Board of Directors
• Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions.
• Analyse the financial details of past, present, and expected operations in order to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.
• Delegate authority for the receipt, disbursement, banking, protection, and custody of funds, securities, and financial instruments.
• Evaluate needs for procurement of funds and investment of surpluses, and make appropriate recommendations.
• Lead staff training and development in budgeting and financial management areas.
• Maintain current knowledge of organisational policies and procedures, Government & Legislative policies and directives, and current accounting standards.
• Supervise employees performing financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting duties.

• Oversee all areas related to Finance, Admin & Human Resource issues within the Company
• Project management of tasks allocated by directors
• Provide back up & assistance to Directors where necessary
• Attendance of management meetings
