Job Description:
Plans for and co-ordinates service activities on customer
installation sites. Minimises downtime by way of close liaison with
Branch Managers and Engineers. Will have a good understanding of
systems environment. Demonstrates good communication skills.
Performs self-sufficient diagnosis to provide technical support on
one or more products. Attends supplier/customer meetings as
required.
Matriculated / Grade 12
Project Management qualification
ITIL will be an added advantage
2 – 5 years Project Management experience
Must have management experience
Responsibilities
Liase with specific customers regarding current and future
installations.
Liase with Branch Managers regarding installation dates for
rollout.
Ensure quantities are ordered well in advance with Supplier.
Follow up with Engineers attending installation.
To be the contact person between the Engineers and the Customers
regarding any issues outside of CEB's control.
Check installation billing and chargeable IR's.
Complete BOM form prior to installation taking place.
Follow up on Customer software upgrading when necessary.
Candidate must be proactive and take an active role in
developing new strategies and procedures in his/her job
description. Work as a team player.
Communications
Communicate with the Divisional Manager on any relevant
information, which may effect organisation.
Establish good communications with the customers.
Communicate with the Branch / Department Managers on any incidents
occurring / projects planned.

Ensure that Project plans are created for each customer
project
To ensure that all Project documentation, i.e. Post Mortems,
Project Completion reports, Project Plans & Schedules are
accurately and timeously completed

in the capacity of Project Manager, you will be expected to carry
out any other reasonable instruction within your ability, and which
can reasonably be expected from you in your role as Project
Manager.
