Job Description:
Duties:
- Manage Configurations. Continuously control and document
the analysis, implementation, review and test of proposed changes
to all internal's and structures and link to items as and when
required.
- Coordinate Computer Operations: Supervise and instruct
less experienced employees in all aspects of current and correct
operational practice to ensure that SLA's are maintained and
reached.
- Install hardware / software: Agreed plans or
instructions to install or remove hardware and / or software are
followed.
- Manage Projects: Define, document and execute
small-scale projects, actively participating in all phases of the
project. Estimate timescales and resource requirements for the
successful completion of each project to agreed terms &
references.
- Test Hardware / Software: Take responsibility for the
testing function within a department of project. Supervise the
performance of systems testers, report on their effectiveness and
take action to remedy deficiencies.
- Support users: Detailed personal advice and guidance is
provided to all users in the effective use of systems, products and
services available to them. Constantly ensure that desktop systems,
products and services are used more effectively and complex problem
situations are investigated. Propose, discuss and evaluate
potential solutions with service providers and implements agreed
fiel dmodifications or workarounds are directed.
Required qualifications:
- Matric
- Relevant Diploma (NQF Level 5)
- A+
- N+
- MCITP
- HP (Ace) Certification
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
