Job Description:
The generic minimum requirements applicable to the following
posts, except where it is specified differently, are: Minimum
requirements: • Applicable degree or equivalent qualification in
the field of the post or equivalent qualification with proven
relevant experience in the specific field • Must display competency
in the post-specific core functions of the advertised post. Fluency
in at least 2 of the official languages, 1 of which must be English

Salary: R71 289 (Level 3) per annum (Ref. GP02/01/12)
Additional requirements:
- National Senior Certificate
- At least 2 years’ proven experience in the specific field of
the post
- Any additional qualifications or courses in the specific field
of the post would be advantageous
- Driver's licence would be advantageous.
Core functions:
- Conduct the installation of radio and electronic equipment in
SAPS vehicles
- Carry out maintenance on installed radios and electronic
equipment in SAPS vehicle
- Conduct the de-installation of radio and relevant electronic
equipment from SAPS vehicles that are boarded
- Clean and conduct pre-installation checking of radio and
relevant electronic equipment.
General: • Only the official application form which is available

Persons who retired from the Public Service by taking a severance
package, early retirement or for medical reasons, as well as
persons with previous convictions, are excluded • Shortlisted
candidates for appointment to certain identified posts will be
vetted in terms of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related
Matters) Amendment Act, 2007 (Act No 32 of 2007) and the Children’s
Act, 2005 (Act No 38 of 2005). A candidate whose particulars appear
in either the National Register for Sex Offenders or Part B of the
Child Protection Register will be disqualified from appointment to
