Grader Operator
Total Cost to Employer: R225 132.00 per annum
Basic salary: R147 587.00 – R171 250.00 per annum (Level 7) (Ref.
TS/07/12)
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Code EC1 driver’s licence, plus PDP
- Eighteen to twentyfour months’ experience.
Key performance areas:
- Perform tasks/activities associated with the transportation of
material/equipment and personnel to and from work sites and operate
heavy mechanical plant and/or specialised vehicles during roads and
stormwater maintenance activities
- Perform specific tasks/activities at the depot and work site
prior to and upon completion of allocated maintenance
assignment
- Complete internal transactional documentation and related
forms
- Perform specific tasks associated with the operation of heavy
specialised mechanical plant, eg graders, front end loaders, crane
trucks, bulldozers, tip trucks, water trucks, etc during roads and
stormwater drainage maintenance activities.
