Job Description:
A Broadcasting Giant
is looking for a Cost Accountant to fulfill this role for a
period
on 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and report on the
monthly variances on subscriber commissions
Review the monthly programming fee
calculations for channels and 3rd Party channels.Analyze and report
on the monthly
variances on programming fees.
Ensure that all the relevant
channel suppliers are billed timeously and accurately for the
channel distribution recoveries.
Ensure that channel suppliers
adhere to the agreed payment terms for the channel
distribution
recoveries.
Perform monthly subscription
product margin analysis.
Perform costings for proposed
bouquets.
Ensure that the channel costs
and exchange rates data is updated and accurate at all times.
Prepare the weekly and monthly
subscriber reports.
Assist in the budgeting and
forecasting of subscription revenue and muxco, programming
and
sms fees.
Requirements:
BComm (min Acc III) degree.
Minimum 2 years costing
experience.
Minimum 2 years variance analysis
and reporting experience.
