Job Description:
Gauteng-based established Development house has an exciting
opportunity open for a seasoned BI SQL developer with
DataWarehousing experience. Key focus areas for this position would
includeExtracting data from its source and transforming/configuring
data to be loaded into the data warehouse, as well
astroubleshooting and correcting data and data processing errors in
existing solutions, andAnalyzing requirements, assess current state
as well as strategic goals and devising a plan for delivering the
most appropriate solution.Candidates must be able to design,
develop and test BI solutions such as reports, cubes, dashboards,
ad hoc data access solutions using best practices including:Review
designs, code and testing with the project team as appropriate.You
will also be expected to create detailed documentation of data
warehouse, data marts, cube structures, ETL and other BI solutions,
as well asattending and actively contributing to architecture,
modelling and design meetings,understanding the data warehouse and
data mart models as well as becoming familiar with the business
information contained in each.Interested parties must have previous
experience interacting with business users to discuss requirements
and to deliver reports and other BI solutions
Education:
Matric
Degree/Diploma
Skills Required:
Minimum 5 Years SQL development experience
Degree is highly beneficial
SSIS
SSRS
SSAS
DataWarehousing experience
