Senior Practitioner: Collective Bargaining
Centre: Chief Directorate: Labour Relations, Head Office, Pretoria

Salary: Commencing: R 185 958 per annum
All Inclusive: R 252 509 per annum

Requirements: A relevant three-year tertiary or equivalent qualification in Labour Relations with one year
working experience in Labour Relations. Experience: Apply technical and legal knowledge.

Duties:

  • Registering, amalgamating or cancelling of labour organisations, bargaining councils and statutory councils and amend their constitutions
  • Varying registered scope of bargaining councils
  • Processing notifications of federation of trade unions and employers organisations
  • Assessment of financial statements and membership figures of bargaining councils and labour organisations
  • Processing bargaining council collective agreements
  • Determine the representativity of bargaining councils.
  • Liaising and communication with bargaining councils, officials of labour organisations, public and stakeholders on labour matters
  • Attending to general enquiries, complaints and Ministerial enquiries and complaints
  • Rendering general administrative support to the Registrar of Labour Relations.
