Assistant Director: Collective Bargaining

Salary: Commencing: R 221 058 per annum
All Inclusive: R 287 158 per annum

Requirements: A relevant three-year tertiary or equivalent
qualification in Labour Relations. Experience: At least three years
supervisory and functional experience in collective bargaining with
a proven track record.

- Labour legislation relevant to the post (Labour Relations Act,
Public Service Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Public
Finance Management Act, COIDA, Skills Development Act)
- Public Service transformation and management issues

Duties:
- Render the process of registrations, amalgamations and
cancellation of registrations
- Obtain information to monitor compliance of labour
organisations with legislation
- Obtain information to recommend extension of collective
agreements and interact with councils on all matters relating to
collective agreements and council functions
- Obtain and analyse information in terms of strengthening the
capacity of labour market institutions
- Managing the resources of the Directorate.
