LANGUAGE PRACTITIONERS
IsiZulu (Ref: KM/2894/2012/CP)
XiTsonga (Ref: KM/1554/2012/CP)
Afrikaans (Ref: KM/2885/2012/CP)
Remuneration package: R277 768 p.a.
As Language Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing
error-free Hansard speeches and translations.
Key performance areas will include:
- reporting, translating, interpreting and indexing
- terminology development.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or NQF level 4 and a degree/National Diploma in
Languages plus 2 years’ relevant experience.
Skills requirements include:
- proficiency in English and one of the abovementioned
languages
- good communication, planning and interpersonal skills
- computer literacy
- typing and/or word processing
- the ability to work under pressure
- willingness to work long hours
- the ability to work independently in executing the
responsibilities of the post.
Remuneration comprises a cost-to-company package, which
incorporates all the large-company benefits. The Parliamentary
Services Administration promotes and applies the principles of
