Job Description:
JHB based Investment BANK requires a Senior Java Developer
required to deliver work on the bank’s core platform for pricing
and risk analytics.
Qualifications:
Preferably a Degree within in the Computer Science, Mathematics,
Engineering disciplines
A course in financial markets is advantageous.
Experience:
3 to 6 years working experience
Strong technical IT skills specifically within a client server
based environment.
Java, J2ee, C++ and surrounding technology skills extremely
desirable
Financial markets pricing and risk analytics knowledge is an
advantage in particular to derivatives.
System integration for scalability and operational
efficiency
Expansion of product ranges and enhancements for business
enablement
Product refactoring to maintain financial model separation of
concerns.
Risk framework enhancements for the current platform and
strategic implementation.
