Job Description:
MIH Internet Africa, has a vacancy for a Finance Manager. This
position, which is based in Cape Town Offices, reports directly to
the CEO 36Boutiques.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for:
Operations Management:
- Manage finance processes and reporting requirements in line
with 36Boutiques and MIHIA objectives
- Control and facilitate invoice and other relevant document
flow
- Organise project and production finance planning
- Take overall responsibility for the AP function of MIHIA
- Management reporting staff
Finance Reporting:
- Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements
- Compilation of accurate and complete trading results, half-year
and year-end packs
- Prepare monthly management reports and analysis
- Prepare reports on monthly projected results
- Prepare board packs
- Finance Management
- Provide financial management support to the CEO
- Ensure correct capturing and processing of data into the MIHIA
accounting system
- Render general finance services to the management team
- Analyze financial data and trends on a continuous basis
- Manage online procurement system for 36Boutiques by ensuring
purchase compliance and approval of purchases on Vortal
- Assess financial systems used on a continuous basis and
recommend improvements
- Assist in the annual external audits
- Prepare annual budget and business plan, as well as periodic
forecasts
The incumbent must comply with the following requirements:
- BCom
- At least 5 years retail experience
- SAP experience
- Online experience
- Stock management
- Admin processes and systems driven
- Personal drive, Professionalism and Integrity
- Deadline management skill
- Assertiveness
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership ability
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency and fluency in both written and spoken English
- A working knowledge of MS Office
