Job Description:
Our Johannesburg based consulting company is seeking a highly
competent Technical Analyst in the field of Business Intelligence,
who will be covering areas from a technical and analytical
perspective. You will be required to do analysis, integration and
implementation in this field of expertise.
Requirements:
4-6 Years Experience in BI
Experience in SQL and tools such as SSAS and SSIS
High analytical intelligence, outstanding at abstract
thinking.
Exceptionally strong applied mathematics, naturally gifted at
sophisticated modeling and complex problem solving
Studied: Computer Science or
Electronic/Electrical/Chemical/Computer/Industrial Engineering.
Is competent in a number of programming languages, have worked
with procedural languages and scripting, used object orientated
languages, knows their way around databases.
Natural curiosity for life in general and technology in
particular, gets excited about innovation and always keen to try
new things out.
Affinity and experience of working with raw data, has developed
a good gut feel for spotting patterns
Good understanding of financial accounting and banking concepts,
processes and systems, 4+ years
Excellent documentation skills, ability to determine the
absolute minimum of documentation needed and the discipline to
perform the specific documentation
Disciplined application of SDLC principles in an Agile
development environment
Experience in processing huge volumes of data and optimizing the
speed of such processing will be a bonus
Reference number for this position is gz24103 which is a
permanent position based in Johannesburg CBD offering a salary of
R700k per annum cost to company negotiable on experience.
