Job Description:
Fast track, high speed technology focused company is looking for
an experienced DBA. Company is based in Midrand.
The successful candidate must have a Tertiary certificate, diploma
OR degree in IT with at least 5 years database administration
experience. Must have Microsoft Database administration
certification.

Requirements:
5 years database administration experience.
5 years Administration Microsoft SQL 2005/2008.
3 years SQL integration services.
3 years SQL reporting experience.
Responsibilities:
Establish, maintain & monitor database administration policies
on enterprise database.
Implement & maintain database.
Backup & restore strategies.
Disaster recovery.
Define, implement and manage database security policies &
controls.
Define, implement and manage database security monitoring protocols
& standards.
Provide 2nd & 3rd line support for internal & 3rd party SQL
Server based applications.
Microsoft clustering/ log shipping/ database mirroring.
Schedule/ implement DBMS upgrades.
Must have own transport and valid drivers license.
