Job Description:


A growing, medium sized retailer group requires a highly self motivated, experienced and skilled

TITLE: STORE MANAGER: (1 Southern suburbs, 1 Northern suburbs)

OBJECTIVE:
To oversee the operations of the store by assuming total store accountability for sales, service profitability and loss prevention. To achieve a store environment that fosters creativity and inspires the customer.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
* Three to five years of retail management experience in a Store Manager position
* Ability to drive sales through excellent service, strong visual presentation, and a full understanding of the business

JOB SKILLS:

PEOPLE:
* Strategically recruit, train, develop and coach a productive store team
* Maintain store staffing requirements to support forecasted sales and payroll budgets

* Direct workforce management

* Ensure team communication

LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNICATION:
* Able to solve problems by challenging the process in order to determine the best solution
* Inspire, motivate, and encourage teamwork
* Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal forms

MANAGING THE ENVIRONMENT:
* Take initiative as a leader by overseeing all levels of customer service and by setting daily goals and expectations to create a positive store environment
* Exhibit excellent floor presence by training and coaching the store team on customer service, standards, product placement and time management
BUILD THE BRAND
-Build a Store environment that is sharply focused on consistently delivering exceptional, positive in-Store customer experience
-Establish customer satisfaction

OPERATIONS:
* Lead the team to perform all store-level operational procedures accurately and in a timely fashion, in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
* Assume total accountability for the store's profitability

* Possess excellent organizational skills and have the ability to multitask planning, organization and executing projects by priority

SKILLS:

Customer Focus, Tracking Budget Expenses, Vendor Relationships, Market Knowledge, Staffing, Results Driven, Strategic Planning, Management Proficiency, Client Relationships, Verbal Communication. Must be able to work wekkends.
