ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for a dynamic qualified accountant to take full responsibility for the total financal management of a well-established medium-sized agrochemical company. We will be opening our George  regional office towards the end of  2012. This position requires hands-on involvement in all the financial aspects of the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for stock control, credit control, budgets, cash flow statements, debtors, creditors, VAT etc as well as management accounts up to trial balance and will report directly to Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

B.Comm degree AND registration with SAIPA

3-5 years post-degree experience

Skills and personality :

Fully bilingual - the working environment is Afrikaans.

Must be fully computer literate - especially Quick Books, Excel and MSWord.

Punctual, diligent, performance-driven, ethical and being able to work under pressure. This is a very demanding position requiring performance deliverance.

Amicable personality with great people skills.

Other requirements :

Non-smoker, own vehicle and driver's license. Must be willing to travel country-wide.

This position is ideally suited for a young professional between 25 and 30 yrs with lots of motivation, creativity and responsibility.

It will be expected from the succesfull candidate to receive  training at our  HQ in Potchefstroom before being transferred back to George.
