Job Description:
The Accountant contributes to the
organisational goals by ensuring the correct consolidation of
financials, to provide reliable and accurate financial information
for the business to allow the business to make informed financial
decisions.
PLEASE NOTE:
A PREREQUISITE for this position is a COMPLETED Degree
with COMPLETED Articles.
Qualification:
Financial degree with completed articles
Knowledge:
Good IFRS knowledge
Knowledge of VAT legislation and regulations
Very good knowledge of Caseware working papers in specific
financial statements must have been done on Caseware.
Accpac experience will be an advantage.
Consolidation experience.

Financial analysis
Duties:
Assist with the drafting of annual financial statements.
Assist with consolidations at year-end.
Ensuring financial information is accurate and timeously
recorded.
Ensuring weekly and monthly deadlines are met.
Ensuring accurate reconciliation and preparation of month end/GL
accounts.
Management of daily cash flow.
Handling ad hoc queries (expense analysis, credit, suppliers
etc.) to ensure effective financial service delivery to
business.
Ensure statutory returns (VAT) are completed and submitted
timeously.
Monitor and training bookkeeper and creditors clerk to ensure
that the financial information captured onto the system is accurate
and reliable.
Prepare management packs to be send to business.
Assist in Caseware training
