The Solutions Architect division currently has a vacancy for a
Solutions Architect in the KZN region located in Durban, who will
be reporting to the Head of Technology and Product Strategy in
Johannesburg, with day to day functional instructions from the KZN
Sales Manager. The incumbent will provide technical pre and post
sales support to the KZN business sales teams, as well as assist
other regionals teams as required.
Required Skills :
In-depth understanding of business communication & computing
technology.
Solid understanding of Internet related technology.
Exposure to solution design processes.
Good communication skills and the ability to work at executive
levels.
Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio is
essential.
Accurate time keeping and ability to keep track of multiple
requests.
Minimum 2 years in the ISP / networking industry
Own Transport is essential
In-depth knowledge of the IT industry
Cisco qualification is advantageous
Good product knowledge is a bonus
Duties & Responsibilities :
Design of customer solutions in collaboration with the Account
Managers.
Drawing up of solution diagrams for proposals.
Provide pricing for non-standard items.
Ensure proposal quality standards are being adhered to.
Handle technical queries from Account Managers.
Liaison with Product Management team to ensure appropriate
application of current product set.
