Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has come up for a Line of Business
Manager at a Leading IT company in Port Elizabeth.
You will be responsible for: High-Level Designs and Bills of
Materials with associated pricing. Vendor Engagements i.e. Cisco.
Client Engagements to determine requirements and roadmaps. Product
research and Recommendations. Solution Documentation and Templates.
Installation meetings and Engineer guidance in Design
implementation.Liaise with the sales team to ensure that proposed
solutions meet customer requirements, and that proposed components
interoperate. Facilitate the necessary solution architecture design
workshops to define the solution architecture/ blueprint of
qualified bids. Understand both technical and business requirements
and ensure that proposed solutions address both. Leverage National
/ Global resources and vendors where appropriate to assist with the
scoping process, and product information gathering. Meet with
Vendors to align strategies and product roadmaps Take ownership to
prepare proposals and pricing for solutions and drives sales.
Engaged with National LoB`s to standardize Solutions and Services.
Design innovative, value-add solutions for clients Help create
their sales and marketing action plan Network with large
corporations and know the latest, most advanced technology and
market trends in order to provide clients with high complexity
solutions.Requirements: + 5 years Industry related solution design
and pre-sales experience with operational foundation A relevant 3
years degree/diploma Sales experience essential Relevant
certifications in networking/converged communications
(predominately Cisco) In-depth knowledge of the converged
communications and network integration solutions essential Good
knowledge of security and Interactive Media solutions an advantage
Drivers license and own vehicle essential Strong verbal and written
communication skills Personal Attributes: Collaborate closely with
other team members, vendors and clients and demonstrate good
negotiating and influencing skills. Display good business and sales
acumen, with a hands-on approach. Ability to listen to customer`s
requirements and translate these into recommended solutions, as
well as drive customer satisfaction. Ability to see `the bigger
picture` and demonstrate analytic and problem-solving
abilities.
