Job Description:


Advanced Industrial Technology is an Electrical and Mechanical Contractor based in Stanger, KwaZulu-Natal, with branches across South Africa. http://www.aitec.co.za/

The HR Director will have the ultimate responsibility for all Human Resource activity within the company from both an operational and strategic perspective. Major areas directed are:

  • Recruitment.
  • Performance appraisals and management.
  • Compliance to regulatory concerns.
  • Employee development and training.
  • BBBEE audit.
  • HR Policy development.
  • Labour Relations.
  • Employment and Equity Committee's.
  • Payroll Office.
  • Employee leave.
  • Disciplinary Action.
  • Reports on the above mentioned to the Board of Directors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related.
  • 5 Years working experience.
  • Knowledge of SA Labour Laws, Employment Practices and MEIBC regulations.
  • Knowledge of BBBEE regulations and BBBEE audits.
  • Knowledge of employment equity reporting and performance management.
  • Working knowledge of workplace skills plans and Seta reporting.
  • A valid driver's licence.
  • Willingness to travel within South Africa as per operational requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Pastel Evolution Payroll system.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels within the entity.
