Job Description:
Exciting opportunity with an Internationally Recognised Player
within Insurance for a Business Analyst within the Business
Strategy Division. This Analyst will be involved in the
Enterprise-Scale implementation of Solvency II within this
organisation.
The purpose of the role is to identify needs and determine
solutions to business problems. Solutions may include system
development, process improvement or policy development.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Degree + Post Grad Qualifications in Informatics, Maths, Stats
or Engineering
3 years Business Analysis
Systems Understanding
Process Management
COMPASS – HUGE Advantage
Solvency II – some theoretical background would definitely be an
advantage
Duties:
Business Analysis
Systems Analysis and Understanding
Development Skills in VBA and SQL – SQL Extracts from various
systems
Previous experience of having Implemented new software
Systems
Microsoft CRM Experience
Life Insurance
Process Management - AS IS and TO BE
SunGard Compass System
Eliciting Business Requirements
Liaising with High Level Stakeholders
Performing Feasibility Studies
Identifying Systems enhancements
Enhancement of the Management Information System Reporting
Testing
MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF PROJECTS WORKED ON, SOFTWARE,
TOOLS and METHODOLOGY!!!
Reference number for this position is no23865 which is a
permanent position based in Sandton offering a salary of up to
R450k per annum CTC negotiable on experience. Company Benefits
