Job Description:


Jacaranda 94.2 is looking for a Sales Executive based in of our Nelspruit office. This position will be a permanent position who will report directly to the Jacaranda Station Manager.

You will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of an Mpumalanga client base and achievement of sales targets. You will also be responsible for developing optimal relationships with clients and promote profitable business.

  • Meet monthly sales targets and objectives as agreed upon for the Direct Sales Team.
  • Sell available advertising time according to the Sales Policy to ensure that income requirements are met and value contribution to clients are ensured and measured.
  • Promote long term relationships with existing clients, helping clients grow and become profitable
  • Engage in advertising workshops

So what do you need?

  • Matric and National Diploma in Marketing/Sales or equivalent.
  • Sales experience of at least two years

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge & attributes:

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communications skills, fluent in Afrikaans and English essential, be able to work under pressure and achieve deadlines and targets, assertive, proactive and a deal clincher , strong management skills, able to work flexible hours, and excellent at establishing networks.
