Job Description:
- Matric.
- Qualified Petrol/Diesel Mechanics.
- Computer literacy will be a recommendation
KPA includes:
- Perform preventative & corrective maintenance tasks on
trucks (M/Benz), trailers, LDV’s & forklifts
- Perform standby duties, attend to breakdowns, do fault finding
and carry out emergency repairs and must be prepared to work
shifts
- Communicate & interact with drivers as well as other
department managers in order to optimize vehicle utilization.
- Carry out preventative maintenance activities in accordance
with OEM prescribed standards, carry out routine corrective
repairs, and rebuild engines and gearboxes.
- Comply with all administrative requirements such as ordering of
spare parts, interpret spares and workshop manuals completion of
job cards and updates vehicle records
- Participate in Mission Directive Work Team meetings and Health
& Safe responsibilities.
- Assist in stores duties.
