To plan, build and maintain a reliable, cost effective and innovative transmission network that meet the demands of our core business within the Region
Performance management on self provide network - Access and Backbone
To co-ordinate projects
To evaluate & implement new technology
To optimise the transmission network
To generate reports on transmission network
To provide high level support on transmission network
To ensure network targets are met

Requirements
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Degree/Diploma/T3/S4/N6 National Diploma Electrical Engineering (LC) or NQF 5 or 6 equivalents. (The onus of relevant proof of NQF accreditation lies with the candidate) (Essential)
8 years experience in the telecommunications industry (Essential)
5 years experience in Transmission (Essential)
Experience with GSM technologies (Essential)
AC and DC Power (Essential)
Valid driver's license (Code 08 /EB). (Essential)

Other
Must be prepared to travel.
Must be prepared to work long hours as and when required.
Must be prepared to perform stand-by duty.
