Support Technician
Location: Kwa-Zulu Natal
Salary: R5K - R7K
A well-known Retail IT management solution provider is currently in
search for a Support Technician to service customers throughout
their Kwa-Zulu Natal branch. To start urgently.
Requirements:
Certificates in hardware and networks
Retail knowledge/experience
Must be able to communicate well in English
Willingness to travel, work weekends and put in the extra time to
keep our clients happy
Candidate must be able to travel and have their own car
Reliable and dedicated
Teachable
Duties:
Job entails giving on-site support to our client base on the
companies POS software and hardware support. As well as new
installations of complete Retail IT management solution - hardware,
software, network etc. Position involves a lot of travel and
overtime. A technician from the branch is on standby for a week at
a time, a standby allowance is payable for every week of standby
worked. Standby includes 10 hours of overtime; any additional
overtime worked while on standby is paid. Travel reimbursed at
R2.75 if they use their own car, but company vehicle available for
longer trips.
