An exciting opportunity exists to join our national water management company in Gauteng on a 3-year contract opportunity - starting ideally in April 2021.
The candidate will be responsible for planning, designing and being technical lead for projects mainly related to mechanical works (Municipal water infrastructure and sanitation works). The clients for which the said projects are to be delivered are local and district municipalities and private developers.
- Experience in Rehabilitation /Repairs or installation of mechanical works or Water or Sewer related projects
- Submit a list of all projects completed with contact details.
- With 5 to 10 years’ experience
Required Skills
- project management : 5 to 6 years
- mechanical engineering : 5 to 6 years
- analyical skills : 8 to 9 years
Candidate Requirements
- Develop and test prototypes of devices they design.
- Be responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes.
- Analyse problems to see how mechanical and thermal devices might help solve a particular problem.
- Design or redesign mechanical and thermal devices or subsystems, using analysis and computer-aided design.
- Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and to recommend remedies
- Analyse the test results and change the design or system as needed
- Oversee the manufacturing process for the device
- Project, Team and Workload Management
- Process and System design and implementation
- Continuously improvement of processes and systems
- Process and System failure root-cause analysis
- Develop and maintain a trustworthy relationship with customer and client
Primary Purpose:
