A vacancy has become available for a Junior Sales Consultant / Trainer to join our CIRO Mpumalanga team based in Nelspruit. The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Manager.

Coffee & Equipment Training
Manage and conduct Ciro Coffee Academy training according to Ciro procedures and policies/instructions
Have a great passion for training people, coffee and equipment
Be updated with new industry trends and capable to impart knowledge to others, and develop new initiatives
Take responsibility for gaining knowledge on Ciro products and equipment, to ensure competence to train on ALL Ciro solutions
Train and assist the sales consultants with building “the CIRO basket” with their customers
Be capable of training Ciro staff on Ciro Coffee Academy Courses
Work closely with the sales consultants for CIRO’s customers – specific needs in training
Follow exact procedures of the Ciro Coffee Academy for all training, events or occasions/incidents

Sales Support Function
Achievement of monthly sales, volume and margin targets
Superior customer service relationships
Creation of a targeted customer prospect list with Sales Manager based on volume requirements per product category for the year and strategic requirements across all channels
Achieve the agreed growth forecasted for the fiscal year by the Regional Manager
Completion of new business development:
Initial contact
Assessment of needs
Proposal of tailored solution
Guiding on implementation, if necessary with the prospective customer.
Ensure that agreements concluded with target list are commercially sound
Present at each installation and complete customer solutions training on day of installation or alternative work with the consultant and training department to schedule in-house training
Measurement will be completed in the following manner:
Monthly 1 on 1
Structured tracking against target list

Department administration:
Submit and complete training registers according to department procedures, online and according to technology trends as developed in department
Manage the tracking of records of training
Track certificates and understand the value of each certificate
Coordinate the training preparation and logistics
Organising catering (when needed)
Organise Award Ceremony and progress reunion for trainees
Driving Training Income
Ensuring invoices for training are issued and paid, and driving the growth of this area in the region

Events
Assist and execute any event related activities

Public coffee industry involvement
Be a SCASA committee member in the region.
Be available for industry meetings, events and new initiatives

Build and maintain relationships
Analyse and solve problems
Understand and develop self
Initiate and achieve results

At least 2 years’ experience training staff in the Catering, Food Services or Hospitality industry

A post-matric qualification related to Sales, Training or Facilitation advantageous
Grade 12 / Matric essential

Experience with in-service trainee program will be an advantageous
Coffee knowledge ideal
