Minimum requirements for the role:

  • A Master’s Degree in political science or management or sustainability or related field or alternatively a thesis in cross-sectoral partnerships ideally UN-business an asset is essential.

  • 3 to 5 years working experience within the chemical industry is ideal.

  • Must have World Food Programme experience.

  • Must have private sector work experience.

  • Previous experience in Africa and Europe and in multilateral context is desirable.

  • Basic understanding of Food-Fortification strategy, analytics and application technology is essential.

  • Basic understanding of food system technologies and their applications are essential.

  • Must be well organised, meticulous and have the ability to plan and priorities activities.

  • Ability to work as an integral member of a team as well as individually is essential.

  • Valid driver’s license is essential and willingness and ability to travel.

  • Knowledge of German/ Swahili Languages will be advantageous.

  • Computer with good working knowledge of MS Office Packages is essential


The successful candidate will be responsible for:


  • Coordinating partner relationships both internally and externally.

  • Performing administrative tasks such as coordinating calls, reporting and ad hoc alignment.

  • Promoting international relations and diplomacy in a multi-stakeholder context.

  • Managing sustainable and social impact business models.

  • Actively representing the organisations interests.

  • Responsible for operational project management of development partnerships.

  • Interacting and cooperating with functional and operational units.

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
