We make a point of recognising success

As the world’s leading primary producer of platinum group metals, we produce 40% of the world’s newly mined platinum. Our mining, smelting and refining operations are based in South Africa, while we’re developing Unki Platinum Mine in Zimbabwe and actively exploring in Brazil. We have exploration partners in Canada, Russia and China, and a number of joint ventures with several historically disadvantaged South African consortia as part of our commitment to the transformation of the mining industry. A part of Anglo American, we are helping to build the leading global mining company.

Anglo American Platinum is seeking to recruit experienced HR Managers as a part of its exposure programme for the HR Manager: Operations role.
The exposure programme will provide experienced HR Managers the opportunity to acquire hands-on mining/processing HR experience through projects and acting and relieving opportunities. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of an excellent HR service to the mining and processing operations. The purpose of the exposure programme is to gain sufficient mining and processing experience in order to be appointed to an HR Manager: Operations role.

Core work outputs include ensuring the consistent implementation of the Labour Management Value chain and that correct standard processes are in place and maintained. You will develop realistic but challenging HR benchmarks, provide a recruitment service that engages and sources staff and support the Manager in disciplinary and performance issues.
