Our client requires the services of a dedicated and energetic person to fill the position of sales and marketing representative at their Johannerburg offices.

The purpose of this position is to generate sales, service current client and grow on the current distribution qualities.

Knowledge:
Matric with a relevant tertiary education in sales/ marketing will be advantageous (or equivalent knowledge & skills).
Sales experience and dealing with clients as well as a successful track record.
Good geographical knowledge
Knowledge of the advertising industry an advantage.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Skills:
Computer literacy - MS Office.
Technical knowledge with regard to the distribution systems and printing processes an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal skills (must be able to deal with clients to managing director level).
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle essential.
Work well under extreme pressure.
Good telephone etiquette.
Ability to liaise and negotiate at the highest level.
Excellent time management.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including good attention to detail.
Sales ability and persuasiveness.
Presentation skills essential.

Self-confident to act autonomously and in a pro-active manner.

Key Outputs:
Meet and exceed sales targets.
Proactively selling of distribution products both by telephone and face to face.
Maintain a high level of customer contact with existing clients, as well as finding new clients.
Work on assigned projects as well as acquiring new business.
Identify new business/turnover opportunities on an ongoing basis.
Closely monitoring competitors and maintain client database.
Keep all administrative work updated.
